Thoughts & Feelings

There are times when thoughts and words collide. These are those special thoughts that occupy the mind. Words that reflect feeling that tend to go unsaid and words without meaning except perhaps in the context of one’s own mind. Thoughts & Feelings is a collection of the expression of special feelings experienced during changing times. Everyone experiences their own personal feelings about the events that carve out their world, sometimes good and sometimes not, each to their own. Yet I am sure that Thoughts & Feelings reflects a bit of all of us. It is an easy though sometimes thought provoking read. The sanctity of one’s private thoughts is conveyed in the poem titled Thoughts and is inspirational in relation to the general content of the other poems:
“In my world all alone are many hidden thoughts that dance around inside my head and grow like living warts. They remind me of the good and bad that carved my life to date, and drive me to insanity for forgiveness that’s too late. All the joys and all the pain, the happy and the sad, the intensity of loneliness can taint my mind a tad. The privacy is wondrous though for there is no living being to contaminate the sanctity of thoughts that can’t be seen.”
About the Author
Guy Palomino was born and educated in South Africa. He presently lives together with his family in Australia and loves nothing more than to travel and to write. In addition to Thoughts and Feelings he is the author of A Twist in the Tale of Christmas.
