by Julius Sai MUTYAMBIZI-DEWA

These are collected essays written by essayist, writer and Zimbabwean lawyer and politician Julius Sai Mutyambizi-Dewa. They are an insight into the Zimbabwean Question and represent the periods 2005 to date. They cover articles written around the assault on the homeless in Zimbabwe in May 2005 under "Operation Murambatsvina", the split of the main opposition Movement for Democratic Change in October 2005, the assault in public of Morgan Tsvangirai [now Prime Minister of Zimbabwe] and the current Government of National Unity in Zimbabwe.

They are a good read especially as they provide an insight into the phases the Zimbabwean issue has travelled and this from one of Zimbabwe's main upcoming leaders and a proven fighter for democracy in the whole of Africa and beyond. It is a must buy for anyone interested in Zimbabwe in particular and contemporary post-colonial socities in general.
