That fateful day's night had been unusually long. That night had evolved into a totally strange morning. A morning that brought with it a heavy fog that engulfed the entire graveyard and Latham town. Many watched, squinting through the mist. Many remained indoor, save for the few emotionless ones, those without predictable faces, who walked out into the fog, determined to go on with their daily errands. "The world sometimes decides to be this strange"... some would yawn and saunter out.
