Bird World is the book that will in short not only show the different types of birds around the world but also their characteristics and behaviour. We can always see birds flying all around however, it is very difficult to realize that they have their own patterns and styles of living and some of them very peculiar stylish kind of life. It would not been possible to collect all these information without the numerous sources such as books and mostly links from different websites. I therefore, acknowledge to have gathered lots of this information from the mentioned sources.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Shivani C. Suraiya is currently a standard ten girl at Aga Khan Mzizima Secondary School in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She was born on 10/03/1994 and has a brother called Parth. Bird World is her third book after the first about fruits and the second one about animals. At least one bird has been identified for each letter of the alphabets and descriptions, habitat and distribution, feeding information and breeding habits have been focused. Other areas are some specific facts and if the birds are in the in danger of extinction. After each alphabetical letter there is also a story not necessarily related to the birds to conclude the information. Shivani is very proud of her parents Nita and Chandu Suraiya who make her dreams become true whenever she wakes up to start the difficult journey of writing. She has many other talents, recently (2009) she has been accepted by the Limca World Records for her largest Key Holder in the World as will be evidenced in their coming book of 2010.
