Self-inquiry is most important in human life and it is a first priority for any human being because all problems of human are due to Self-ignorance. If we gain Self-knowledge by doing Self-inquiry our action in our daily life is complete which at present is incomplete resulting in perennial conflict and strife. Complete action born out of understanding by doing Self-inquiry does not result in conflict. This book highlights the importance of Self-inquiry in daily life and deals with the practical aspect of it. Self-inquiry can be done by any human being living anywhere in the world without leaving the work he is doing and it can be done irrespective of previous background of beliefs,dogmas,religion and social conditioning.In this there is no need to have any priest as an interpreter and it is beyond all religions because Self-inquiry is like a scientific investigation into the nature of functioning of our mind which represents human mind in general.Unless we know the nature of functioning of the mind Self-knowledge never dawns in the mind.Self-inquiry prepares the mind for receiving Self-knowledge in the passive awareness.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

The author is a pediatrician from India working on Self-inquiry for thepast 30 years with the guidance of the presence of great saint of south India Bhagawan Sri Ramana Maharshi. He also wrote books like "The commentaries on Self-inquiry" "The book on Self-inquiry" and commented on Upadesa Saram and Akshara Mana Malai of Ramana Maharshi. He wrote many books on teachings of Ramana Maharshi in his native language Telugu.
