A continuation of Our Fragile Lives, The Archer Twins is set in the south of England, Portugal and Australia. June and Mike Archer lied when they claimed to have twins. The lie was intended to protect June's sister from scandal and keep Mike's sexual encounter with the sixteen year old a secret. June had learned to love both babies equally but the boy isn't as lovable as the babe. A psychologist and subsequent genetic investigation forces June to reassess their lives together as a family. Have the lies been pointless? Was her sister's death avoidable? Were June's actions hasty and selfish? Can her relationship with Mike survive these new revelations?

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Marilyn Glenn was born in England; growing up in the East Midlands and educated at Thomas Rawlings Grammar School for girls. Marilyn emigrated with her husband Alan and their two daughters to Sydney Australia in 1982 and now lives on the Central Coast of NSW where she started writing for pleasure after taking early retirement. The Archer Twins follows on from Marilyn's first novel Our Fragile Lives. Only her second novel but certainly not her last.
