This play is dedicated to everyone in the world, young and old, rich and poor; I want to share with the world the history of Lesotho. It has always been my dream to make the world know the history of Lesotho. I was one day inspired by my lecturer, Mrs. Malibo, after marking my drama assignment, she observed my work and noticed that the idea is very important. So far, in Lesotho, we only have the people who tell us the history of our nation orally, even if there can be written documents; they are not presented in a way that can be dramatized. This play demonstrates how and where King Moshoeshoe was born, his boyhood and manhood. First, as a boy, Moshoeshoe is hated by King Ramonaheng who seized Menkhoaneng and made it his own land. After being circumcised, Moshoeshoe feels he is no longer ruled by King Ramonaheng. He succeed to defeat Ramonaheng and all Bakoena go back to Menkhoaneng, but they do not stay for too long because their chief, Mokhachane, is murdered. They move forward to seek for a safe land, they find the land called Butha-Buthe, they also do not stay for long because the Batlokoa of Mmanthatisi are attacking them. They keep on moving until they arrive at Thaba-Bosiu( Mount-Night) and there they live for a long time. As time goes the Boers arrive, they pretend to be good, but after som time they become enemies to King Moshoeshoe.
