ABOUT THE BOOK
"American Literary Legends and Other Poems" is a collection of poems dedicated to some popular American scholars in Literature and Politics.Such as Edgar Allan Poe, Thomas Jefferson, Emily Dickinson, Patrick Henry, Thomas Paine, and many others. It is summarily historical and odeic. Other related poems on the history of England and Englanders are collected together with them. It is my belief that readers will find them very interesting and useful.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
The author is a graduate of English/Education, University of Ilorin,Nigeria. He is a professional teacher and a poet. He is currently teaching English Language and Literature-in-English at the Foundation Model College, Ikirun, Osun State, Nigeria. And as a way of bringing out students' creative talent,he founded a club named Creative Writers Club in the year 2009.
Paradoxically, the Author is a Nigerian and resides in Nigeria. However, his interest in Anglo-American Literature inspires him to write the book.
Mr. Olawuyi has written more than 160 poems and has published more than 15 articles both online and offline.
