"American Dream" is written in the genre of a ninja love story, quite realistic and psychological with unexpected adventures in USA, China and Japan, thought the main events at first pass in Los-Angeles near Hollywood. The plot is close to Hollywood ninja and kung-fu films. The main hero is a Russian immigrant, taught long ago by a Japanese girl secret ninja art, and now searching for success and love in the USA. He has to choose between five different girls, including his Japanese teacher, and she finds her own unusual ninja solution that satisfies all the five, finally seven. In the meantime he makes a career in Hollywood as an affective fighter in successful films and writes a script for his own film, based on his own life and adventures in the USA, China (Shaolin) and Japan, where he flies for casting in new films. He has some interesting and useful contacts with a CIA-man and FBI, earns their trust and opens with his American friends a security firm, providing bodyguards for stars, businessmen and politicians, and finally fights against mafia at the hint of CIA.ABOUT THE AUTHORBy his education the author, Serge Nazar, is a translator and interpreter, but his personal life experience is connected with the East, Zen and martial arts, and the philosophical, psychological content of the story is derived from his own life. As a Russian he knows the problems of Russian immigrants well. But my story is written not only for Russians in America, but for Americans too, as a fresh look on themselves of a new unprejudiced man. Japanese and Chinese will see their culture in it too, because ninja adventures and love are interesting for all.(2011, paperback, 162 pages)
